Grab your API key and start chatting
API Key
To start using Geeps you need an OpenAI API Key. Or multiple keys if you enabled multiple model providers.
If you don't have the key(s) or are not sure what it is start here.
Mac Settings
On macOS open Geeps > Settings in the menu.
In the Settings window open the Configuration tab and enter your API key.
If you enabled multiple model providers, you can enter a key for each provider and select a default one.
Select a model or enter it manually using the naming provided in the OpenAI documentation, e.g. chatgpt-4o-latest or gpt-5 :)
Click 'Submit' to test your key. You'll see a green checkmark if the test is successful.
Please note: For successful API key test you need to have a positive balance on your API account. The test will ask the model for response and will use a few tokens, so if your balance is zero or you don't have access to the model it will fail.
iOS Settings
On iOS hit the gear icon to open Settings, go to API Settings and enter your API key(s).
That's it, you can start chatting!
