Planned features and improvements for Geeps

Is there a roadmap at all?

Yes, I do have a lineup of features that I'm working on and planning for the future. Some of the upcoming features and improvements include:

  • Updated design for iOS/macOS 26 with Liquid Glass ✅
  • Support for OpenAI Responses API ✅
  • Support for tool use ✅
  • Support for URL parsing (web fetch) and share sheet extension ✅
  • Responses API for custom providers ✅
  • Image generation with OpenRouter ✅
  • Support for MCP and additional tools ⚒️
  • Image generation with custom providers 🛠️
  • 'Projects'-like feature with support for shared context/memory between chats 🛠️
  • General memory 🛠️
  • More agentic capabilities, like file editing, integration with iOS (calendars, reminders, etc), agent skills and plugins, etc.
  • Many other improvements like parallel chat sessions, conversation compaction, pinned chats, chat forking / branching, saved theme presets, chat export in different formats, chat sharing, realtime API (voice), on-device local models, and more

What's the status of the project?

I aim to release once a month and I'm open to suggestions for new features. Please use the form if something doesn't work and you want to request changes. I usually respond to all reported issues. You can also open an issue on GitHub

I have LOTS of ideas to make this app better, I use the app myself all the time and I love working on it, but for now Geeps is not a full-time job for me, so my timelines may be not as predictable as I'd like.
