Customize settings for image generation and editing

Overview

Image generation and editing are currently supported with OpenAI and OpenRouter. DALL·E model support is deprecated by OpenAI and is no longer available (as of May 2026).

Inside each Image Gen chat you can switch between 'Create' and 'Edit' mode by clicking + in the message composer. Create mode is used to generate a new image and 'Edit' mode uses a previous image as input (if available) or requires an image to be attached first.

Load models

You can load models directly from the API. OpenAI lists all image and non-image models together in one list. OpenRouter loads only image models here along with every model's supported parameters.

Provider and model

You can set a default provider and model that will be used in new image generation chats. These can be changed in each chat by clicking the + in the message composer.

Default parameters

You can set default parameters for your chosen model and these can also be updated per chat by clicking + in the message composer.
